Business Incentives

Together we can make the difference

Next Level Jobs

WorkOne offers one-on-one career guidance and counseling. Employers can apply for a Next Level Jobs Employer Training Grant to train new and incumbent workers for the skills needed in their company. Employers can be reimbursed up to $5,000 for each employee, up-to-$50,000 per employer, for employees trained and retained for six months.

More than 100 in-demand, high wage occupations are eligible in the priority sectors of Manufacturing, Agriculture, Construction, Health Sciences, IT/Business Services, and Transportation/Logistics.

Registered Apprenticeships

Southern Indiana Works can assist employers to establish flexible, customized training platforms that will allow them to train and retain their employees in critical, skilled positions. Our staff will work with your company to develop training standards that lead to a registered apprenticeship program recognized by the U.S. Dept. of Labor.

Employers may be eligible for funding assistance to sponsor up-to 50% of the related training costs for the apprenticeship. We will also screen and assess candidates, as well as provide support for monitoring and data reporting requirements.

On-The-Job Training

Expanding your workforce can be costly. On-the-Job Training (OJT) is available for partial reimbursement of a new hire’s wages during the training period to offset employer training costs. Employers have the opportunity to train employees with customized training that meets their individual needs.
